Good romance novels for a 16 year old?

I don't want a novel with Fabio (if you know what I'm sayin). NO freaky Twilight mess, no vampires or supernatural things. And I don't want to be reading anything from the Stone Ages. Something from this century, so the farthest I'll go back is 1990. I'm just looking for something that makes me smile, something that'll make me go "awwww!". That's all I ask.
