Do you think your ex would go back out with you if you stay friends with them?

Okay! I've had this happen before I stayed friends with two of my exes but i broke up with them and they still trying to get back with me... But the difference with my last ex he broke up with me and i was just wondering if there would ever be another chance of us ending up back together. We went out for at least seven months and he would contact me. I don't ever even contact him! Do you guys think there will be a possibly that happen with him...
